Unique Summer Camps for a holistic learning experience! Wingspan understands and celebrates diversity, creativity and engaged learning. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to cater to a wide range of learning styles, ensuring that every child can thrive in our inclusive and supportive environment.
Embracing Interdisciplinarity through Art, French & Nature Through the fusion of art and French, our summer program encourages students to explore the connections between different forms of expression and communication. By engaging in both visual and linguistic arts, students develop a more comprehensive understanding of the world around them, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for diverse cultures and the natural world.
Neurodiverse Friendly Approach Instructors are trained to accommodate diverse learning needs and to assure all kids can excel. Programs are overseen/led by owner Maggie Standley, educator, painter, neurodiverse herself, youth advocate and professionally licensed French teacher, PK-12.
Experiential Learning Wingspan believes in the power of experiential learning. Students immerse themselves in our daily rhythm and help run the studio. Art projects, French language, nature exploration and outside play exist alongside plant watering, sweeping, trash runs and clean up.
Benefits for Every Student Whether your child is a budding artist, a language enthusiast, has a unique learning profile, our program offers a multitude of benefits. From improved cognitive skills to increased cultural awareness, students develop a well-rounded skill set that extends beyond camp.
